In 2022, Wanda returned to stand-up after a 15-year gap. With her passionate joy, she won the Bristol Gong Show 'Beat the Wands' in July 2023. Wanda is a working-class Cockney Sparrow / Bristolian done good. She's had 4 profitible and sell-out shows in Edinburgh, a podcast that hit Number 1 on iTunes, made a TV Comedy Pilot that became a series on Radio 4 and was even a Playboy Radio presenter in Los Angeles. Wanda's aim is to spread joy and laughter, while also making people think differently about the world.
Mentored by Ken Campbell, he urged me to use my face create characters and joy. During my Edinburgh run, my show was extended from 1 hours to 2 hours, with all seats sold, some of my audience still stood in the back and demanded more after 1 hour of comedy.
