Damon Millard

Damon is a stand-up comic currently living and performing in New York City. Damon was born into and raised by a poor family from up-state New York. He found sanctuary in the only place he could, his imagination. He dreamed of growing up and becoming a robot that could shoot lasers from its eyes and microwave burritos in its chest. His high school guidance counselor said that was stupid, and urged Damon to take shop class so that he would be prepared for his inevitable career in factory work. Damon's career path led him to many strange places. His first job was in fact at a metal-finishing factory where his fingertips turned a greenish-black from touching chemicals. Damon also had jobs as a Dj, a pizza maker, a gas station attendant, a waiter, and a TV News Photographer. Armed with the strange stories of his weird, carnie-folk, con-artist family, Damon began performing stand-up. Audiences loved it!! By comparison they never felt better about their own lives.
